The Challenge

An automotive magazine for people who love road trips, car culture, and exploring new routes. I co-founded it, built it, and keep it running.

My Approach

1

Headless CMS

Strapi gives editors a clean interface while keeping the frontend completely decoupled

2

SSR Frontend

Nuxt.js for server-side rendering (SEO) with Vue components for interactive features

3

Interactive Maps

Editors tag articles with coordinates, readers explore routes and waypoints visually via Mapbox

4

Cost-Effective Media

Cloudflare R2 keeps costs flat even as the photo library grows into thousands of high-res shots

Tech Stack

CMS Strapi (headless)
Frontend Nuxt.js, Vue.js
Maps Mapbox GL JS
Media Cloudflare R2

Impact

Building your own product forces different thinking. Every choice has long-term cost and maintenance implications — no client is paying for over-engineering. It reinforced my bias toward simple, composable architectures and keeps me sharp on modern frontend outside of e-commerce.
